WHAT IS MUSTANG ELITE
TRACK CLUB?

As one of the fastest-growing track clubs in Oklahoma, Mustang Elite is a competitive team of youth and high school athletes. We offer event-specific, seasonal training designed to help students ages 9 and up reach the next level and unlock their full athletic potential. Our community is here to support athletes in reaching their goals no matter the sport. Training ranges from weekly team sessions in the summer to options including personalized virtual coaching year-round.

📍 Location: Mustang High School Football Stadium
📅 Practice Dates:
• Elite Team: March 14, 8:00–10:00AM
• Champion Team: April 4, 8:00–10:00AM
• Summer Team: May 4 - July 13, Mon/Tue/Thu, 6:00–7:30PM

🏃‍♂️Ages: 9 Years +
📍 Meets (OPTIONAL): 3-5 local, regional, and select out-of-state track meets, primarily on weekends

SUMMER TRACK

Whether you are a sprinter, hurdler, distance runner, jumper, or thrower, Mustang Elite’s competitive summer track team offers Oklahoma’s best training programs for all events. With elite coaches and a proven training program, athletes grow and become more confident in themselves. Our summer track team is made up of youth and high school athletes.

    ELITE TEAM:
    - (Pre-Season) March 14th-May 2nd, every Saturday, 8:00–10:00AM

    CHAMPION TEAM:

  • Competing at track meets is optional.

    Mustang Elite plans to travel to 3-5 total track meets. One of which is out of state in Des Moines, Iowa.
    An AAU Membership is required to compete. Most of the local track meets we compete at are run by another club. In the past, we have had delays and issues arise. Please note that we are not in control of or responsible for how these track meets are run.

  • Practices:

    • Personal Water Bottle

    • Running shoes & track spikes (If applicable for the event)

    Track meets:

    • Personal Water jug

    • Running shoes & track spikes (if applicable for the event)

    • Race uniform

    • Sunscreen/ lotion

    Optional but recommended for track meets:

    • Personal lawn chair

    • Tent

    • Hat

    • Light snacks for in-between events (oats, fruit, nuts)

    • Ice chest with extra water

  • It is your responsibility to arrive at track meets on time.

    In the past, coaches and parents have helped carpool athletes to local and out-of-state meets. Please reach out in our community GroupMe or personally to a coach/parent if this is of interest. The farthest distance we will travel this year is Des Moines, Iowa (About 7-9 hours away from OKC).

  • An AAU membership is required to compete. It can be purchased for $22 at play.aausports.org. Go to: > new membership > Youth Athlete Membership (Use code W3FDF4 to be affiliated with our club). If you do not affiliate yourself with Mustang Elite Track Club on the AAU website, you will be entered into meets unattached.

    As a bonus for Elite members, an AAU membership is included for free. Be sure to request payback for this if you’ve already bought your membership. Email support@elitetrackclub.com

  • A meet entry fee is required for each athlete at every track meet. Elite members will have their entry fees paid for. Everybody else must cover their own entry fee.

    Estimated athlete meet entry fees for the season = $125 (FREE for Elite members)

    MEET REGISTRATION:
    Inform Coach Edwards about what events you would like to compete in BEFORE the meet’s registration deadline. Informing a coach a week in advance is recommended. An athlete can compete in up to four events or one multi-event at a track meet. After confirming the athlete has been signed up, you must cover the entry fee (Elite members receive free admission to meets). The entry fee is listed for each meet on the meet schedule page above and can also be referenced on our schedule page on elitetrackclub.com/schedule. Entry fee payments can be made by cash or check to Mustang Elite Track Club or online through CashApp or Venmo:
